The brand started from 2016SS season .
under the concept of “FOUND(find out)&“REPRODUCTION”
The line of military trainer is made by hand work in a careful manner at factories in each country that produced many military trainers from the 1950s to 1990s.
The source for each design is revealed by indicting model name, country name and age on logo or tag.
We find out timeless and universal items with a focus on military items and we offer them after reproduction modernly.

 

Created with only one color of all black with “One tone” as the theme.

Because it uses the beautiful suede material of the hair feet, it is finished with luxury.

The first thing I will introduce is the British trainer known as a sneaker which was adopted as a training shoe in the British army in the 1990s.

Because it is scraping the useless design to the limit, versatility is high, it is easy to wear in various scenes.

 

 

見つけ出す:FOUND、再現する:REPRODUCTIONをコンセプトに2016SSよりスタートしたブランド、「REPRODUCTION OF FOUND」と 1LDKのプライベートブランド、「UNIVERSAL PRODUCTS」のダブルネームのスニーカー。
「ワントーン」をテーマに、オールブラックで製作。

毛足の綺麗なスエード素材を使用しているため、高級感あふれる仕上がりに。

 

最初にご紹介するのは、1990年代にかけてイギリス軍でトレーニングシューズとして採用されたスニーカーの通称、ブリティッシュトレーナー。

厚みのあるソールはミリタリーアイテムならではの機能性と履き心地を体現しており、デザイン面、機能面共に優れたシューズです。

無駄なデザインを極限まで削ぎ落としている為、汎用性が高く、様々なシーンで履いて頂きやすいです。

1990年代にかけてイタリア軍でトレーニングシューズとして採用されていたスニーカーを復刻した、イタリアンミリタリートレーナー。

軍用シューズでスリッポン、センターエラスティックという珍しいデザイン。

なかなかお目にかかる事が少ないデザインかと。

 

REPRODUCTION OF FOUNDは、その国毎の軍用シューズをその国で実際に製作していたファクトリーに依頼し、現代的に再現しています。

そうすることで当時の空気感をそのまま残した、唯一無二のシューズが誕生するのです。

 

日本の1LDKでは、早いスピードで完売してしまいましたが、パリ店では、極少量ですが、サイズを豊富に揃えております。

In UNIVERSAL PRODUCTS, “HEAVY WEIGHT TEE” series which is released as a classic.

In Japanese stores, it is sold out at a fast speed, the color is lacking immediately, it is a popular item with no size.

I am pleased that many people like it in the Paris store and I am very happy.

 

It is UNIVERSAL PRODUCTS which is usually MADE IN JAPAN, but this T shirt is different.

It is MADE IN USA.

“HEAVY WEIGHT” When asked, it is quite thick, the body is too hard,,. I imagine it, but it is different.

Because it is set to a moderate thickness of the fabric, sleeves will not stretch through the sleeves, the drop shoulder will fall cleanly along the shoulder.

昨日から展開し始めているのですが、反応が良く、パリ店でも多くの方に気に入って頂いており、大変嬉しい限りです。

 

普段 MADE IN JAPAN が多いUNIVERSAL PRODUCTSですが、このTシャツは違います。

カットソーといえばの MADE IN USA なんです。

そう聞いてしまうと、なぜか購買意欲が湧いてしまうのは、僕だけじゃないと思います。

“HEAVY WEIGHT” と聞くと、かなり厚手で、ボディが堅すぎたり、、。なんて想像してしまいますが、違うんです。

適度な生地の厚さに設定されている為、袖を通しても袖がピンと張ることもなく、綺麗に肩に沿って落ちてくれるドロップショルダー。

身幅を大胆に広く取り、着丈を短めに設定することにより、様々なボトムスのシルエットに対応可です。

シンプルなデザインでありながら、絶妙なゆったりとしたシルエットなので、一枚で着ても存在感を十分に発揮してくれ、今からの季節に大変重宝するかと思います。

普段僕は全店で唯一UNIVERSAL PRODUCTSを取り扱っていない1LDK apartments.で勤務している為、ここ最近UNIVERSALのアイテムをあまり着ないようになっていました。

しかし、入社当初はUNIVERSALの定番で1LDKの制服と言っても過言ではない、チノパン、ファティーグパンツ、ヘルスニット、ギャンバートシャツなどを登竜門と思いつつ、好きで買って着ていました。

そして初日のこちらのBLOGで、恥ずかしながら久しぶりにUNIVERSAL PRODUCTSのチノパンを穿いたところ、やっぱりいいな、、。と感じてしまい、新調することに。

ということで、再発見？したUNIVERSALの定番品をご紹介させて頂きます！

UNIVERSAL PRODUCTS ORIGINAL CHINO TROUSERS €165

1LDKがオリジナルを出す時に初めて作ったのが、こちらのチノパン。

細過ぎす、太過ぎずな、ちょうど良いシルエットが売りで、そのシルエットは時代に左右されずにずっと形は変わらずにいます。

股下にはマチを作ってあるので安定の動き易さがあり、穿き心地抜群です。

リピート率が高く、色違いや新調する為に買う方が多い中毒性のあるパンツです。

こちらもチノパンと同様に幾度となくBLOGで登場している、ファティーグパンツ。

ファティーグ＝軍パンですが、野暮ったさも兼ね備えつつ、綺麗なシルエットで穿いて頂けるよう作られ、チノパンと同様にウエスト、腰回りにはゆとりを持たせ、穿いた時の締め付けを無くし、シルエットも膝上からテーパードをかけているので、スッキリとした印象です。

THE ミリタリーなカラーリングで男らしいOLIVE、こなれた印象があって良い意味でおじさんくさいBEIGE、クリーンな印象を持たせつつ、何にでも合わせやすく鉄板カラーのNAVY。

どの色味もそれぞれ特徴があり、見え方も変わってくるので、何色持っていても困らない、パンツです。

そして、もう一つ、忘れてはいけないアイテムを忘れておりました。

UNIVERSAL PRODUCTS GAMBERT CUSTOM SHIRT €165

生産工程の多くを手作業によって行っており、昔からの職人達の手で生産している、1933年創業のアメリカ東部ニュージャージー州のシャツブランドGAMBERTに別注したシャツ。

もちろんインナーもHEALTH KNITです。

1LDKのシャツスタイルはこいつがいたから出来たと言っても言い過ぎではないのでは。

洗うたびにパッカリングが引き立ち、色も徐々に変化していくので、育て甲斐のあるシャツです。

本来であれば、洗いがかかっている私物と比べて、お見せしたかったのですが、パリに持ってくるのを忘れてしまいました、、。（情けないです、、。）

洗いをかけた後でも、そのままアイロンをかけず、洗いざらしでぜひ着て頂きたいシャツです。

色は現在、ホワイト、ネイビー、フレンチブルーの三色でご用意しております。

 

 

「普通で格好よい」

今回ご紹介したアイテムが1LDKの目指し、提案し続けているスタイルに一番近いのかなと個人的に感じます。

もう一度、僕も原点に帰ってみようと思います。

もう6月に入りましたが、先週末から雨続きでこれでは日本の梅雨と変わらないここ最近のパリです。

そしてまだまだ寒いのも特徴で、ウールのコートやダウンの方もまだまだ見かけます・・・

例年であれば6月は最高の季節！となるらしいですが、果たしてどうなってしまうのでしょうか。

 

とは言えアウターを紹介するのも何だか気乗りしないので、本日もパンツのご紹介です。

 

UNIVERSAL PRODUCTS Wool wide slacks  240€

 

トロピカルウールを使用したワイドスラックス。

テーパードはそこまできつくない比較的ズトンとしたシルエットですが、2タックですのでウェスト回りは、よりゆったりしています。

ディテールとしては、センタークリース無し、サイドにステッチが入るのでかなりカジュアルなスラックスだと感じます。

This slacks made by 100% tropical wool, very light weight and feeling dry.

Without center crease, with 2 tucked and side stitches. Nice for summer casual style.

 

ウェスト後ろ部分にはゴム入りで、同素材のドローコードが付きますのでベルトいらずで夏に最適です。

There is elastic and drawstring. You can wear more easy without any belts.

 

スタイリングはゆったりめのカットソーを合わせて足下はスニーかー、もしくはサンダルあたりが今っぽいバランスでしょうか。
